HOW TO APPLY TO SLCC
Students must be admitted to Salt Lake Community College in order to take concurrent enrollment classes. If a student has never taken concurrent classes at Salt Lake Community College, the following steps must be taken to complete the on-line application. This should be done as soon as possible. Students who have previously taken concurrent classes must provide their SLCC S# to the Career Center or CE instructor but will not need to re-apply.
Please note: There is a $5.00 per credit hour fee that will be assessed by SLCC at the time of registration for courses.

STEP 1: APPLY FOR SLCC ADMISSION
STEP 3: SET UP 'MYSLCC' ACCOUNT(This is your college account, similar to your high school Skyward Account.
Congratulations, you are now a college student!

To apply, you will need:
- School State ID (SSID) This is found in Skyward under ‘Student Information’ on the Student’s account only, not parent's. It is a 7 digit number beginning with a 1 or 2) - This is NOT your student ID Number)
- Social Security Number (SSN)
- Access to your email and a parent's email You will need to be able to access both emails to verify your identity.
STEP 1: APPLY FOR SLCC ADMISSION
- Go to www.slcc.edu/concurrentenrollment.
- Go to the "Admissions" section
- Scroll to the bottom and click on “Apply for Admissions Now’.
- Complete the entire application (Personal information, Education information, Parent information).
- The SLCC student number, called your “S” number, will arrive in the mail 7 days after you complete the application.
- Once you receive your "S" number it is important to record your number where you won’t lose it and can access it quickly (e.g. your mobile device, etc.).
- You may also ask in the Career Center if they can access your S number.
STEP 3: SET UP 'MYSLCC' ACCOUNT(This is your college account, similar to your high school Skyward Account.
- Go to www.slcc.edu
- Click MySLCC at the top of the page.
- Click on "Retrieve Your Username" and follow the instructions.
- Click on "Reset Password" to set up a password for your account. This is not the same username/password that you used to apply.
- Your username is created for you and will appear on the screen. Take a picture or write it down before you exit.
- Follow instructions; it’s specific on what it is needed for the password.
- IMPORTANT – write it down or take a picture and commit to memorizing your password.
Congratulations, you are now a college student!
